Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders of Alabama (HBDA) recently held a “Walk for Hope” and parade in downtown Montgomery, Ala.
Alagasco employees Brenda Atcheson, Cedric Douglas, Tim Ivory, Eric Sandlin and Lisa Wilson volunteered to grill hamburgers and hotdogs for members of the community.
The HBDA parade and walk was held Sept. 7 at the Union Station Train Shed, a national historic landmark in Montgomery.
After the walk, volunteers and community members celebrated with food, fun activities for kids and a few surprise guests including Batman, Alice in Wonderland and Captain Hook.
“We were happy to volunteer to be a part of the day,” Atcheson said. “It was a lot of fun for a great cause.”
We want to thank our employees for their great volunteer initiatives within our communities. At Energen /Alagasco, we know our business success is tied to our commitment to supporting those who help others.
